Reading for the Full Moon on August 31, 2023



On this Full Moon, there is a hard step-back, a holding of the flow in reserve. People hold the intentions tied to emotions to account and judge whether to act on them or not. People act with greater reserve, and seek to preserve the status quo, or at least seek to allow practical considerations to supercede empathetic ones.

There is still a foundational restructuring happening. It is taking many weeks and many Full and New Moons to unfold. In this Full Moon, however, there is a spiritual dimension to it, in that people struggle with the deeper purposes and meanings underlying the very real developments. Their day to day actions can seem to be guided by this inner struggle, in part. People perform some activities that seem to help them address and even, possibly, articulate their inner dramas.

There is easy movement and transit and conversation, and spending happens too easily. Indulgence is an ongoing theme these weeks.
